Drive-Thru Distribution

Our building may be closed to visitors, but we're still distributing food and diapers to anyone in need.

Drive-thru distributions are held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. To participate, bring your current or expired Center Card. If you don't have a Center Card, bring a photo I.D. of any kind and we'll get you setup with one.

Important rules and reminders for the drive-thru:
  1. Do not arrive early. There's no difference between the distribution given out at the beginning of the day and those at the end. Arriving early just creates extra traffic hazards for you and our staff.
  2. Only one card-holder per household is allowed to go through distribution each week. (Multiple households may visit in a single vehicle.) Walk-ups are also welcome, but each household is still limited to a single distribution per week.
  3. Please stay in your vehicle. Our building is closed to the public - please plan accordingly.
  4. Please clean out your vehicle's trunk area before attending. Because of exposure risks, we will not place food in the passenger area of your vehicle. FOOD WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN THE TRUNK. If your trunk does not work, you will be asked to park a short distance from the drive-thru, given a cart of food, and asked to load it into your vehicle yourself.
  5. Please bring as few people as possible to distribution.
  6. If you are ill or have potentially been exposed to COVID-19, please DO NOT ATTEND ANY DISTRIBUTION. The drive-thru process reduces potential contact, but does not eliminate it entirely.
  7. Please do not smoke in your vehicle at distribution.
  8. Please do not use your cell phone while in the drive-thru - this includes not being on a call. Any distraction could result in injury to you and/or our staff.
  9. You must present a current or expired Center Card to participate. Those without a Center Card should bring a photo I.D. of any kind. We will issue a temporary card, which you will need to bring from then on. (We use Center Cards to track attendance, which helps us tell local decision-makers about the need in the community.)
  10. You may only attend one food distribution per week. Diapers are limited to one distribution per month.
  11. You must be 18 or older to receive food for your household.
  12. Please be courteous. Our staff is working long hours, outside, to ensure you have access to fresh, healthy food and clean diapers.
  13. Please do not attend if you do not truly need help.

As the need in our community increases, so do the waiting lines for food and diapers. Here are a few tips to help you avoid waiting:

  • Do not arrive early. There's no difference between the distribution folks receive at the beginning of the day and the end. Arriving early just guarantees you'll have to wait.
  • Consider attending at 10:30 a.m. or later. We generally have traffic flowing pretty well by then.
  • Don't arrive at the last minute. We close promptly, and there's always a little rush right before the end of distribution. To avoid waiting, or potentially missing distribution, plan to attend at least 30 minutes before close.
  • Avoid Tuesdays, if possible. Tuesdays are our busiest day, and the only time we hold a distribution outside the usual 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. window. If you can attend distribution on another day, please do so.
