
Lynn Roper recently retired after a 42-year career with Merrill Lynch where she was a financial advisor and managed the Lincoln, Nebraska office. In addition to numerous business recognizing her professional success, Lynn has been an active volunteer serving many of Nebraska's nonprofit groups and foundations in a leadership role.
She has served as chair of the Nebraska Environmental Trust, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, Lincoln Lancaster Commission on Women and the UNL Journalism capital campaign. She has served as treasurer of the Woods Charitable Fund and the University of Nebraska Foundation board.
She currently serves as president for the Center for People in Need, as president of the Mari Sandoz Heritage Society and as chair of the Flatwater Free Press board. In addition, she is also treasurer of the Nebraska Community Foundation and the Western History Association along with serving on the board of Madonna Hospital
