Drive-thru traffic flow and waiting line parking
As the need in our community increases, so do waiting lines for our drive-thru distributions of food and diapers. Here are a few tips to help you avoid waiting:
Do not arrive early to distribution. There's no difference between the distribution folks receive at the beginning of the day and the end. Arriving early just guarantees you'll have to wait.
Consider attending at 10:30 a.m. or later. We generally have traffic flowing pretty well by then.
Don't arrive at the last minute. There's always a little rush right before we close.
Avoid Tuesdays, if possible. Tuesdays are our busiest day. If you can attend distribution on another day, please do so.
When there’s a waiting line, please follow traffic flow outlined at cfpin.org/drive-thru. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep our community fed and its youngest residents diapered.
We regret to inform you that Toyland will not take place this year. The risk of COVID-19 is too high. Several area nonprofits are still hosting their holiday events. Check with KFOR Operation Santa Claus, the Salvation Army, and People's City Mission. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday season.
We will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1. Please plan your visits to the Center for food and/or diapers accordingly. Thank you.
