Food and diaper distributions held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. Check in at Door #2. If you don't have a Center Card already, apply for one at cfpin.org/center-card or complete a paper application when you visit.
Care Room open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

EduTech enrolling now!
New education program focused on well-paid tech careers.
EduTech, a FREE educational program focused on preparing students for a career in the well-paid, growing area of technology, is now accepting applications for its first cohort. EduTech, which will use curriculum developed by Google, will enroll 40 participants each year for 4 to 6 months of part-time learning. Certifications are available in:
- Data Analytics
- IT Support
- Project Management
- User Experience (UX) Design
Participants will have access to supports like food and diaper distributions, gas vouchers, childcare vouchers, interview clothing stipends, etc. to ensure success! If you’re interested in starting a stable, well-paid career in technology, complete your application at cfpin.org/edutech.
POP scholarships accepting new students
Education is the key to improving your life! The Center's POP scholarship program allows individuals to attend Southeast Community College tuition-free while receiving additional services to help you succeed. More than 600 students have completed 30 credit hours at SCC through this program, improving their job skills while receiving practical education in fields like healthcare, office administration, computer technology and many more! JLL Diaper Bank is here for you
The Center is a founding partner and the operational arm of the Junior League of Lincoln Diaper Bank, Lincoln's only Diaper Bank. As a client of the Center, you're eligible to receive one distribution of 50 diapers per diaper-wearing child, per month. The next time you visit distribution, just ask about diapers at check-in.
Summer Fun: Pools, the Zoo and fans
City Pools: Reduced-price admission rate cards for city pools are available at the Center. Limit one per family. You must have a Center Card to receive a reduced-price admission rate card.
Lincoln Children's Zoo: Zoo passes are available during food and diaper distribution. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays 4 to 6 p.m. You do not need to receive food or diapers to get a zoo pass, but you must have a Center Card.
Free Fan Program: The Center will not distribute box fans from the city's Cooling Assistance Program this year. To participate in that program, please contact the Economic Assistance Office at 402.323.3900 or visit https://dhhs.ne.gov/Pages/Energy-Assistance.aspx.
Summer Food Service Program for kids
The Food Bank of Lincoln, in partnership with the USDA and community partners, is sponsoring meal sites in Lincoln to offer free breakfast and lunch to children and teens age 18 and younger. Meals are served free to any child at the site on a first-come, first-served basis. Meals must be consumed on site during designated meal times.

SNAP and WIC food assistance programs
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as food stamps) could be the key to keeping your family fed. In 2021, income eligibility for SNAP increased from 130% Federal Poverty Level to 165% FPL. So if you haven't checked your qualification since then, you should! Call the Center at 402.476.4357 for assistance.
Women Infants and Children nutrition assistance
WIC is a special nutrition program specifically for pregnant and breastfeeding women and families with children younger than 5 years old. Visit dhhs.ne.gov/pages/wic-about.aspx or call Family Service WIC at 402.441.8655 or Lincoln Lancaster County WIC at 402.441.8000.

Clinic With A Heart offering FREE school physicals
Clinic with a Heart will host a free school and sport physical clinic on Saturday, August 13 from 8 a.m. to noon at 1701 S. 17th Street. Appointments can be scheduled online at https://www.clinicwithaheart.org/get-help/school_physicals.html or by calling the clinic at 402.421.2924 Monday through Thursday after 2 p.m.
Feel the Love heating/cooling system giveaway
John Henry's is working with Lennox to provide a free heating/cooling system to a local unsung hero—someone who is going through a hardship, someone who always helps others, or a front-line/essential working—who cannot otherwise update their heating/cooling equipment. Self-paced, FREE English language classes
Learn English at your own pace! The Center offers three levels of free English language classes, Monday through Friday from 9 to 11 a.m.
New students are tested to evaluate current language capabilities and then enrolled in the appropriate class. Our instructors are highly skilled and dedicated to teaching English and basic American culture, with an emphasis on obtaining employment. Affordable Connectivity Program
ACP is a new, long-term program aimed at making broadband access affordable for all. Families struggling to pay for internet service may be eligible for a $30 per month discount on broadband internet service. Qualifying households must meet specific criteria.
