Scams increase during pandemic

Scammers are using this national emergency to steal thousands of dollars from unsuspecting victims. Legitimate businesses and organizations do not approach customers asking for personal information like social security numbers, bank account information, etc. A good rule of thumb: when in doubt, don't give it out!

For more information on protecting yourself from scams, visit consumer.ftc.gov.
