The shift from daylight savings time has pushed sunset much earlier, creating a safety hazard for clients and staff at our Tuesday evening food distributions. Clients and staff were both at risk, as visibility was reduced significantly.
Effective immediately, Tuesday evening distributions will be held from 3 to 5 p.m.
This will reduce the safety hazard posed by distributing after sunset. If you know anyone who attends Tuesday evening distributions, please let them know of the change. We need your help getting this news spread as quickly as possible. Thank you.
We regret to inform you that our holiday special events - Thanksgiving Distribution and Toyland - will not take place this year. The threat of COVID-19 continues, and we cannot risk large events like these. We apologize for any inconvenience and hop you have a wonderful holiday season.
We will be distributing food and diapers as usual around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. But, we will be closed Nov. 26-27 for Thanksgiving and also closed Dec. 24-25 for Christmas. Please plan accordingly.

Drive-thru traffic flow and waiting line parking
As the need in our community increases, so do waiting lines for our drive-thru distributions of food and diapers. To avoid a wait, do not arrive at distribution early. Tuesdays are our busiest day - if you can attend distribution on a day other than Tuesday, please do so.
When there’s a waiting line, please follow traffic flow outlined below and park in the designated waiting lines (A, B, C, and D). If these lines are full, we may direct you to waiting lines E, F, G or H.
We appreciate your patience as we work to keep our community fed and its youngest residents diapered. For more info, visit https://www.cfpin.org/vnews/display.v/ART/5e72d436bae68.
