Thanks to our friends and generous donors, the Center had another banner Give to Lincoln Day this year, with $179,527 in donations—only $2,671 below last year’s total.
“We are so thankful for the ongoing support and generosity of our community,” said executive director Chris Funk.
More than 1,500 families, on average, visit the Center’s food and diaper distributions each week. The Center also serves families in need through free English Language Learning classes, the POP scholarship program, TRADE community reentry program, and general client assistance, including limited emergency assistance funds.
“The ongoing public health crisis has affected us all in some way,” said director of fund development Jo Ann Emerson. “To experience another great year of donations through Give to Lincoln is a wonderful boost of encouragement for our staff and volunteers in these trying times.”
