The Center is happy to announce the return of its annual Thanksgiving Holiday Distribution.

The Center will not hold food and diaper distribution on Friday, Nov. 19 to prepare for the event and Wednesday Nov. 24 to clean up the event.

To participate in the Thanksgiving Holiday Distribution, families must have a current, up-to-date Center Card. Expired cards are no longer accepted. Complete an application online, or visit any regular food and diaper distribution before the event to complete a paper application.

To protect our staff, volunteers and thousands of clients like you from everything from COVID-19 to the seasonal flu, we will be taking extra safety precautions. Participants will be separated into small groups, socially distanced and required to wear a mask, regardless of city mandates or vaccination status. Thank you in advance for helping keep our community safe and healthy!

FREE flu and COVID-19 shots will also be available from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department on Monday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To volunteer, register to be a Center volunteer at cfpin.org/volunteer and sign-up for one or more shifts on signupgenius.com. Questions? Email volunteer@cfpin.org or call 402.476.4357 x116 and speak with our volunteer coordinator.

To keep the holidays bright for all and make an impact on thousands of low-income families in Lincoln, consider making a monetary gift to the Center.
