People Obtaining Prosperity
People Obtaining Prosperity (POP) is a tuition-free program that helps people attend Southeast Community College, identify a career pathway, and obtain better employment. This program has helped more than 200 low-income individuals graduate from SCC and dramatically improve their office and computer skills. These achievements often lead to better incomes from working in fields such as healthcare, office administration, and computer technology. In addition, more than 300 students have completed at least forty-five credit hours at no cost, improving their knowledge and skills in particular areas.
If you know someone who is unable to make ends meet, who, perhaps, have not had the means to go to college, or who is uninformed about career options, that person might be a future POP student!
Please contact Lynette Maes at 402.476.4357 or firstname.lastname@example.org, to learn more.
